STUDENT INTERACTIVE SESSION (SIS)

Pflege Association under the department of Obstetrics & Gynaecological Nursing, Faculty of Nursing in collaboration with New Delhi Tuberculosis Center (State T.B. Training & Demonstration Centre) organized Student Interactive Session (SIS) on sensitization of Nursing students regarding National Tuberculosis Eradication Programme (NTEP) by Guest Speaker Ms. Gurpreet Kaur (Public Health Nurse) on 16th November, 2021. It is a Public Health initiative by Government of India and a flagship component of the National Health Mission (NHM) with a vision of ‘Prevent, Detect, Treat & build Pillars for Universal Coverage and Social Protection’. The programme was started with the inauguration by Prof. (Dr.) Sharif Ahmad, PVC Research, SGT University and welcome address given by Prof. (Dr.) Sunil Kumar Dular, Dean, FNUR. Ms. Gurpreet Kaur started the session with the brief introduction about the program and about the standardized treatment regimen which is to be followed. At the end, the programme was ended with the summarization & vote of thanks. The whole programme was organized under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Akoijam Mamata Devi, HOD of Obstetrics & Gyaecological Nursing with the faculty members Ms. Deepak, Associate Professor, Ms. Shalu, Ms. Madhubala, Ms. Geetanjali Sirohiwal, Ms. Sonam & Ms. Banapriya.
