Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, SGT University, Gurugram has organized a Seminar cum student interactive session on Personal Hygiene and Healthy life style among Adolescent at Shishu Kalyan School, Sector 86, Gurugram on 22nd October 2021.The session was conducted by Ms. Shalu, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Nursing, and SGT University. The main objective of the session was to create awareness regarding Basic personal Hygiene, Menstrual cycle, Menstrual Hygiene and alternative therapies used during menstruation or other disorders like Vaginal Discharge, PCOD, Sexually transmitted disease their prevention, Management and their future consequences in their reproductive life with the
help of team Members Ms. Geetanjali, Ms. Banapriya and Ms. Sonam and Msc. Nursing students through demonstrating the procedure on Menstrual Hygiene and alternative Therapies, Breast
self examination, Healthy diet and also informing the students about women Help Line Number for girl’s and women’s safety.
