The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, #SGTUniversity in collaboration with Department of Community Health & Development, ST. Stephens Hospital, Delhi-Gurugram had organized a TOT (Training of Trainers) of “ ” on promotion of Home-Based Nutrition for infants & toddlers on 24 th January 2022 at Community Center, Dhankot Village, Gurugram.
The program was started at 11 am. The participants were 17 selected mothers of the village. A pre-test was conducted before the commencement of the session to determine the level of understanding. Ms. KM Sonam led a session on antenatal care, antenatal visit, and several government programs related to maternal and child health such as Janani Surakshya Yojana, Janani Sishu Surakshya Yojana, MAA, PMSMA, and birth preparedness. And then Ms. Banapriya had taken a session on Antenatal diet, safety precautions to be consider throughout pregnancy, dangers signs need to observed immediately, minor disorder of pregnancy & adoption of family Planning Method. The whole programme was organized under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Akoijam Mamata Devi, HOD of Obstetrics & Gynecological Nursing with the faculty members Ms. Shalu, Ms. Geetanjali, Ms. Banapriya, Ms. KM Sonam from SGT University, Mr. Assem Shivappa (Sr Coordinator, Department of Community Health & Development, ST. Stephens Hospital, Gurugram) & 2 ANM’s of Dhankot PHC.
