Welcome to Faculty of Nursing (Formerly Dashmesh College of Nursing) a constituent of Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University (SGTU) which aims to serve the society by providing better health care facilities to the needy at an affordable cost.

The Faculty of Nursing aims to produce highly competent nursing professionals incorporating ethical values, to meet global standards that offer high-quality education and training programs for students who aspire to become professional nurses. One of the key features of the Faculty of Nursing is the National Resource Simulation Centre (NRSC), which provides students with state-of-the-art simulation facilities to enhance their learning experience. Additionally, the Faculty of Nursing offers a comprehensive curriculum prescribed by Indian Nursing Council (INC) that includes both theoretical and practical components, with a strong emphasis on hands-on clinical experience. Graduates of the Faculty of Nursing are well-prepared to meet the challenges of the healthcare industry and make a meaningful contribution to the health and well-being of the communities.

NRSC National Reference Simulation Centre (NRSC)

This Centre has been designed to provide quality simulation-based training to the students of faculty of Nursing which enhance the students overall skills as a multi-professional team.

MOUs

MOUs with various reputed organizations: MOUs have been signed with tetrapartite collaboration between Jhpiego, Laerdal Medical, Indian Nursing Council and SGT University,for establishing NRSC, Tulasi Health Care Hospital Gurugram, Institute of Mental Health and Hospital, Agra.

Awards and Recognition

Faculty members have received awards and recognition for their contributions to the nursing profession, such as the Rastriye Anusandhan Puruskaar, Nursing Scholar Society Award, Women World of India, Haryana Award.

Clinical Exposure

The university has its own 850 bedded NABH, NABL accredited multi-speciality Parent Hospital for clinical training of students.

I am delighted to welcome you to the Faculty of Nursing at SGT University. Nursing is a profession, that requires dedication, compassion a commitment to lifelong learning. It is profession with high scope of employability nationally and internationally.In SGT focus is on activity based learning and learners participate in variety of learning activities which gives an opportunity to learners to explore, think critically and use problem solving. Nurses are now expected to perform an extended and expanded role and work in variety of settings including Nurse practitioners nurse entrepreneurs etc . Our faculty members are experts in their fields, with rich clinical , teaching, and research experience . They are passionate about nursing and are committed to facilitsting you to develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed for success in this rewarding profession and contribute to quality patent care The mentor mentee sessions facilitate learners to express themselves and take remedial measures as required Our Faculty of Nursing Focuses on Outcome based Educational Framework and excellent resources for preparing nurse graduates to meet the needs of the expanding health services in hospital ,community and society at large. The new National educational policy (NEP) guidelines are incorporated in the curriculum to make it more holistic . At the Faculty of Nursing, we provide you with ample opportunities to gain practical experience in clinical and community settings in accredited parent hospital affiliated community Heath centres and through our affiliations with other top hospitals and healthcare organizations. We also encourage you to participate in research activities and community outreach programs, enabling you to make a positive impact on society while advancing your nursing career.
