Women’s Health and common social issues

Pflege Association under the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing, Faculty of Nursing SGT University organised the Virtual Inter Faculty Extempore Competition on the theme “’ ” on 18 January, 2022 at 11 a.m. onwards under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Akoijam Mamata Devi, HOD of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing with the faculty members Ms. Deepak, Ms.Madhubala, Ms. Shalu, Ms. Geetanjali Sirohiwal, Ms. Sonam, Ms. Banapriya, Faculty of Nursing, SGT University.

The event was started with the introduction and welcome address given by Prof. (Dr.) Sunil Kumar Dular, Dean, Faculty of Nursing, SGT University. Ms. Geetanjali Sirohiwal, Tutor, Faculty of Nursing and Ms. Poornima, M.Sc Nursing final year student organized the event and instructed the participants regarding rules and regulations of competition. Total 14 participants have joined the Extempore competition from various faculties such as Indian Medical System, Nursing, Medical and Health Science, Dental and Health Science & Physiotherapy.

The main judges who have chaired this event were Dr. Auditi Narayan (Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department) & Prof. (Dr.) Paulin Sharmila (HOD of Child Health Nursing Department), SGT University.

After successful completion of the program, results were announced and first winner was Mr. Amit Sehrawat (B.Sc. Nursing 7 th sem.), second was Dr. Krishna Sheth (PG in Ostetrics and Gynecology) and third was Ms. Samiksha (B.Sc. Nursing 7 th sem.) and event was ended with vote of thanks. The event was highly appreciated by the participants.
