AWARENESS CAMP ON ANEMIA AND HEMOGLOBIN ESTIMATION

The Community Health Nursing Department, Faculty of Nursing, SGT University, Gurugram organized an Awareness program under the theme “ ” at village Khera, Jhanjhrola on 12th January 2022 at 10:30 Onwards.

The main aim of the awareness program was to create awareness about anemia, its prevention, and hemoglobin estimation. The activities included Hb estimation and BP monitoring by students (Using COVID protocols). More than 45 attendees were present at the program. In the end, the program was highly acknowledged & appreciated by the Sarpanch and villagers. ANM and ASHA workers were also present in the camp. They also motivated the villagers for early screening for Anemia.

The awareness program was coordinated and organized by 4th Year B. Sc Nursing students & Mrs. Sameeksha Bhardwaj, Mr. Naveen Vats, Ms. Khiumajuliu Abonmai, Ms. Rekha Chhillar and Ms. Kavita Sharma under the supervision of Ms. Deepa Mukherjee & Guidance by Prof. (Dr.) S K Dular, Dean cum Head of the Department of Community Health Nursing, Faculty of Nursing.

We are thankful to the Sarpanch of Village Jhanjhrola, for their immense support and collaboration for the successful organization of this event.
